HOUSE OF THE DANCING SUN

                                                      "La Casa del Sol Bilando"

A privately-owned Sedona vacation rental home

4 bedrooms, 3 bathrooms, sleeps 8

1.6 acres of horse property and country living

Welcome to this special Sedona vacation home!

Instead of staying at a Sedona hotel, choose this beautiful authentic pueblo custom home that sleeps 8. The home was built in 1997 and has 4 bedrooms, 3 bathrooms, 2078 sq ft, on 1.6 acres. Native American and Spanish Colonial decor and artwork. Beautiful handmade wood furniture in the Spanish style. Majestic 10-foot high ceilings throughout the home. Each bedroom has its own bathroom and is on its own separate hallway for privacy. The floorplan is ideal for several couples traveling together or for families desiring more privacy. Special amenities include Jacuzzi, satellite TV, high speed internet connection, local phone service, gas fireplace, gas BBQ, and freestanding oversized Hammock. While resting in the hammock on the patio, watch quail, hawks, rabbits, and squirrels on brilliantly sunny days. Relax in the Jacuzzi spa while watching the stars blink on crystal clear nights. Unwind in this private country setting away from the tourist crowd.

Location: On the outskirts of Sedona, in the countryside of the highly desirable “Turquoise Triangle” (Sedona-Jerome-Cottonwood) area of the Verde Valley. Two hours north of Phoenix Sky Harbor International Airport.  Close enough for a day trip to the Grand Canyon.

Area Description: The home is not located in a subdivision. It’s situated in the countryside, atop a high desert mesa that is completely encircled by mountains. There are 360-degree unobstructed panoramic views – from the Sedona Red Rocks to the majestic Mingus Mountain range. The lights of the ghost town of Jerome can be seen twinkling in the dark from the home. The high desert mesa is bordered down below on two sides by Oak Creek. A county park along Oak Creek is within a 5-minute walk. This park has grassy lawns, mature shade trees, and easy access to the creek banks. Walking in other directions from the home, it’s more challenging to reach the creek (100 foot drop). Javelinas, rabbits, squirrels, chipmunks, quail, hawks, and many other bird species live here. The neighborhood is notably beautiful for its views, wildlife, and pueblo style custom homes. Horses munch peacefully in many of the front yards. The neighborhood is upscale, very safe, and quiet. The residences are spread out on minimum 1.6 acre lots and are mostly unfenced (except for horse corrals), giving a wide-open Southwestern feeling. There are numerous hiking, biking, and ATV trails in the immediate surrounding area. It’s just a 5-minute drive to the golf course.
